- Make sure the internet is connected, by browsing to a website like www.google.co.uk
- Please open your internet browser and navigate to http://192.168.1.1 (default) if not http://192.168.0.254 or http://192.168.1.254. One of these addresses should bring you to the following page:
- Once logged into the router, navigate to Go to System Maintenance >> Management page, enable Allow management from the Internet.
- Make sure the “allow management from the internet domain name allowed” box is ticked, as well as the HTTP Server box below is ticked.
Then HTTP port on the right should be a user defined port set as 8080. With these options enabled, you can then access the router remotely from the internet using the following link style;
The external IP address also called the WAN IP address, is the address that defines the connection to the internet. The port 8080 then diverts it to the Draytek router.
